Aloke Gupte, head of Asia-Pacific equity-linked origination at JP Morgan, is relocating to London and will be replaced by Gaurav Maria, according to an internal memo seen by FinanceAsia on Monday.

Gupte, who has been at the bank for 11 years, will be taking up a similar role that covers Europe, the Middle East, and Africa EMEA, to be succeeded in Asia by Maria, an executive director in JP Morgan’s equity-linked team in Hong Kong, the memo said.
