HSBC beefs up its ABS team in Asia

HSBC appoints Will Ross as managing director, head of asset-backed securities and structured bonds, Asia-Pacific.

HSBCÆs corporate, investment banking and markets announced Thursday May 25 that it has appointed Will Ross as managing director, head of asset-backed securities ABS and structured bonds, Asia-Pacific effective June 1, 2006.

Ross will be based in Hong Kong and lead a team of nine professionals based in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore and Taipei û the largest such team in the Asia region.

He joined the bank in September last year to run ABS syndicate across the region.
