JP Morgan hires Edmund Lee as Singapore head

Edmund Lee set to join JP Morgan as its head of Singapore from DBS Vickers Securities, according to an internal memo seen by FinanceAsia.

Edmund Lee will join JP Morgan later this year as the New York bank’s senior country officer for Singapore, according to an internal memo seen by FinanceAsia.

He joins JP Morgan from DBS Vickers Securities, a Singapore-based securities and derivatives brokerage wholly-owned by DBS Bank, where he has been chairman and chief executive for 12 years.

Lee partly replaces Philip Lee who left JP Morgan in early April to join Deutsche Bank. Philip was chief executive of Southeast Asia investment banking as well as chief country officer for Singapore for JP Morgan.
