John Ogilvie, a partner in Herbert Smith's London office, has joined the firm's Hong Kong office. He has been a litigation partner since 1993 and has extensive experience across a wide range of complex contentious issues, including professional negligence both accountants and solicitors, disciplinary proceedings and media art related disputes.
Ogilvie has been involved in several prominent cases and acted for high-profile clients since joining Herbert Smith. He advised the UK firm of Arthur Andersen in relation to the affairs of Enron, and also acted successfully for Time Warner in preventing Don King Productions Inc from getting an injunction on HBO televising the classic featherweight title fight between Prince Naseem Hamed and Kevin Kelley...
