HSBC AM fills in senior Taiwan, Singapore roles

New hires from Invesco, and JF - of course.

HSBC Asset Management has hired yet more senior executives from JF Asset Management in Taiwan. Andrew Chen has moved to serve as president of HSBC’s securities investment trust enterprise, focusing on sales and marketing.

He reports to Christina Sung, the ex-JF supremo who oversees the entire Taiwan business and has changed nine of the Taiwan business’ top managers since she joined in April. Gloria Wang had served as an acting president but was really more like a chief operating officer, and she left early this year. The COO role was formally adopted by Adelina Louie in April the same time Christina Sung joined who arrived from HSBC Bank.
